My junior year of college, BJU's Unusual Films created a full length production about the Spanish Inquisition called Flame in the Wind. BJU's student body was about 5000 strong and I think at least half the campus mobilized for this production. Faculty members taught their classes and gave homework patiently and not so patiently around filming schedules. I think half of them were in the movie too!

I played an extra in the auto de fe scene, a peasant and did sound-dubbing and also make-up for the soldiers. As peasants we were supposed to have dirt on our faces and clothes and I remember we were worried that South Carolina's red clay wouldn't look right for the part!
