Good morning, M and everyone!

Hope the test scenarios are going well! I brought up most of the Therapist Helper Libraries at home this morning and pressed the F1 key - that info might help us keep in mind more clearly how the libraries impact the various things we are trying to do in Therapist Helper. I attached a document summarizing some of the information - I recommend you all take a look at it.

Just a brief summary of the meeting from my end - we decided to keep our cases uncomplicated and basic - and try to cover the major types of billing situations that CFRC encounters. We developed a list of those which include:

Self-pay (sliding fee scale)

Self pay (no sliding fee scale)

Insurance client (client responsible for balance)

DFC

SAFTIP

SOMM

SOS

IVB (IVBii, etc)

Medicaid

We also developed a check list sheet to use in systematically entering and following each scenario through Therapist Helper from patient intake to receipt of payment or write-off. The check list listed each of the steps we wanted to cover in each case and included an area for observations, comments, questions, and things learned. Jill and Donna agreed to spend about twenty minutes a day tracking the scenarios through Therapist Helper and filling out the check sheets.

At the end of this test cycle, we expect to have a stack of check lists. It would be helpful if before our next meeting if you could summarize some of the things you've learned, the main questions and problems that came up, and your recommendations. When we meet next, we'll debrief on how the testing went and decide what to do next - with the ultimate goal of course being to go "live" with Therapist Helper for billing.

Good luck and be sure to keep if you have any questions or need any help from my end! Also be sure to try out some of Therapist Helper's technical support options. They are listed on the menu bar under Help and then Technical Support. :)
